I had put off my session with Susan Lynch for about five years, not because I doubted the authenticity of her gift, but because I thought that all of my homework had gotten me as far as I could to go in healing. I believed that we have to just come to terms with, and learn to live with the lasting effects of traumas. Also, the scientist in me argued -in spite of my experience with nonphysical influences at work in the world.
     So I did research. I confirmed that the traditions on every continent are consistent with Susan's methods, from the Ainu of Japan to Mongolia, from across Africa and throughout the Americas. But it is not work that just anybody can perform. The depth of her preparation and training is tremendous, but more that that, Susan is fiercely intelligent and compassionate. I have the sense that she has more than a few lifetimes under her belt as she and her helpers are insightful in the deepest sense. I know I'm not done healing, and I'll seek her out again. In the mean time, though, I feel that I've had returned to me a part of myself that I'd lost as a child.
